Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Noogat ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Noogat app ("App").

Information We Collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address to create and authenticate your account.

Your ideas: The text content of ideas you capture through the App, via Siri, or via voice dictation is stored on our servers so it can be synchronized across your sessions and processed by our AI tagging service. When you use voice dictation, your audio is processed by Apple's Speech Recognition framework (on your device or Apple's servers) and only the resulting text transcript is transmitted to or stored by us. We never store or transmit raw audio recordings.

Usage data: We collect basic server logs (request timestamps, error codes) for debugging and reliability purposes. We do not use analytics SDKs or ad tracking.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service: We store your ideas and use AI to automatically tag and categorize them.
• To authenticate you: Your email is used to send magic-link sign-in codes.
• To send you a welcome email: When you create an account, we send a single transactional welcome email.
• To send product updates (with your consent): If you opt in during sign-up, we may occasionally email you about new features or products. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us at the address below.
• To improve reliability: Server logs are reviewed when diagnosing errors and are not linked to individual users beyond what is technically necessary.

We will never sell your email address or any personal information to third parties. We do not use your idea content for training AI models.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

Resend receives your email address solely to deliver emails you would expect to receive (welcome email, and marketing emails if you opted in). We do not share your ideas or any other personal data with Resend.

When you use voice dictation, audio is processed by Apple's Speech Recognition service subject to Apple's privacy policy. We receive only the transcribed text; raw audio is never sent to our servers.

Your idea content is sent to OpenRouter for AI tagging. OpenRouter routes requests to underlying AI model providers. We do not send your email or account identifier to OpenRouter — only the text of your idea.

Sentry receives crash reports and error diagnostics, which may include device type, OS version, and app state at the time of a crash. No idea content is included in crash reports. RevenueCat receives your anonymized App Store receipt to verify subscription status — we do not share your email or idea content with RevenueCat.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you delete your account through the App (Settings → Delete Account), all your ideas and your authentication record are permanently deleted within minutes. This cannot be undone.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data (all your ideas are visible in the App)
• Export your data (contact us at the email below)
• Delete your data (Settings → Delete Account, or contact us)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR. Contact us to exercise them.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this page when this policy changes and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
